Terms of Service

These Terms are between you and INNOMATRIX LIMITED, the operator of PDFTranslate (pdftranslate.io, the “Service”). INNOMATRIX LIMITED is a UK private limited company (Company No. 16188012) with its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ. The company record can be verified through Companies House.

By creating an account, buying credits, starting a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Governing law, dispute venue, tax treatment, and market-specific consumer disclosures must be completed before paid checkout is made generally available in each market.

The Service

PDFTranslate uses automated OCR and machine translation to create translated PDF documents. Results may contain recognition errors, mistranslations, omissions, changed page breaks, missing interactive elements, or layout differences.

The Service does not provide certified, sworn, notarized, legal, medical, financial, immigration, or other professional translation. High-stakes documents must be reviewed by a qualified human professional before use.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, protect your login credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. You may not share, sell, or automate access in a way that bypasses plan limits.

Your documents

You retain ownership of documents and other content you submit. You grant us and our service providers a limited right to host, inspect, transform, transmit, and delete that content only as necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the reliability of the Service.

You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to upload, translate, and process each document. You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes rights, contains malware, exposes data without authorization, or is subject to restrictions you cannot meet.

We do not claim ownership of your documents or use their content to train a general-purpose AI model.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • break laws or infringe intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or contractual rights;
  • upload malware, active exploits, deceptive content, or material intended to damage the Service;
  • probe, bypass, disable, or overload security, rate limits, credits, billing, or access controls;
  • scrape, resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized shared access to the Service;
  • reverse engineer the Service except where the law expressly permits it;
  • use the Service to create or distribute illegal abuse or to make unlawful automated decisions about people.

We may block a file, suspend processing, or restrict an account to protect users, third parties, and the Service.

Credits, subscriptions, and payment

One standard credit is intended to cover one standard page within the limits displayed at checkout. OCR or other higher-cost processing may require additional credits. The preflight quote shown before paid processing is authoritative for that job.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not normally erase credits already granted for the paid period. Subscription credits expire at the end of their stated period unless the checkout page says otherwise. One-time credit packs expire on the date shown at purchase.

We reserve credits before paid provider processing, settle actual authorized usage on success, and release unused reservations after a verified failure or cancellation. Partial results are charged only under the partial-completion rule disclosed before processing.

Taxes, currencies, refunds, trials, renewal notices, and statutory cancellation rights depend on your location and checkout provider. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. Except where law requires otherwise or we state a specific guarantee, fees for successfully delivered digital processing are non-refundable.

Availability and changes

PDF processing depends on cloud, OCR, translation, payment, and email providers. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or identical output for every PDF. We may change limits, supported languages, suppliers, prices, or features. Material subscription changes will be communicated as required by law and apply no earlier than the next permitted renewal.

Intellectual property

PDFTranslate’s software, interface, branding, and documentation are protected by intellectual-property laws and remain the property of their respective owners. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service.

Feedback may be used to improve the Service without an obligation to compensate you, but it does not grant us ownership of your documents.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, security risk, non-payment, unlawful use, or where required by law. Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice and a way to export available results before termination.

Termination does not remove payment obligations already incurred or provisions that by their nature should survive.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that cannot reasonably be made for automated translation, including absolute accuracy, fitness for a high-stakes purpose, and pixel-perfect layout preservation.

The final limitation of liability, liability cap, exclusions, governing law, and dispute-resolution clause must be tailored to the production operator and user markets before launch. Nothing will exclude liability or remedies that applicable law does not permit us to exclude.
