About PDFTranslate

What PDFTranslate does, how product claims are verified, and who operates the service

PDFTranslate is a browser-based service for translating native and scanned PDF documents while keeping the page structure recognizable. It combines document inspection, OCR when needed, contextual machine translation, and PDF reconstruction in one workflow.

Who operates PDFTranslate?

PDFTranslate is operated by INNOMATRIX LIMITED, a UK private limited company.

The registered office is the company's legal address. Customer support is handled by email.

What does the product do?

The current production service is designed to:

  • accept native and scanned PDF documents;
  • recognize image-only pages with OCR;
  • translate among the languages shown in the product;
  • show the source-page count and required credits before processing;
  • generate a translated-only PDF and a bilingual comparison PDF;
  • retain page geometry, tables, images, links, and reading order where the document permits.

Machine translation and OCR can make mistakes. PDFTranslate does not provide certified, sworn, legal, medical, financial, or other professional translation. High-stakes documents need qualified human review.

How are product claims established?

We publish limits only after checking them against the production capability contract and the deployed user flow. Translation behavior is assessed with native PDFs, scanned PDFs, structured pages, and output-file checks. The quality methodology separates current capabilities, controlled tests, known limitations, and claims that have not been established.

Why does PDFTranslate exist?

PDF translation is often treated as a text-only problem. Real documents also contain page geometry, tables, captions, footnotes, images, links, and reading order. PDFTranslate exists to make that surrounding document usable after machine translation, while being explicit about the limits of automated output.
